They are getting ready to launch a 72m that looks a lot like Northern Star.

: a large white ocean bird that has very long wings

: a continuing problem that makes it difficult or impossible to do or achieve something

Yes, Albatross has two meanings but the second and more commonly used of those two is just so very bad for a boat name, I can't imagine why anyone would name their boat "Albatross."

Albatross: a psychological burden that feels like a curse.

Though I suppose in this case it's more along the lines of "killing one is bad luck".

I sure wish people would proof read their sites. Onika is listed as Length 133', Beam 119'.

Well, look at the dates of delivery for the boats there and things have been slow for them. Still, by doing other work, they've kept it going.

Has there been any news on Delta's latest yacht to be launched. I was in the area recently and noticed a big yacht they had been working on when Albatross was launched was in the water. Another secret project I guess?

Is it just a hull outside? Aka Marco Yachts Project Z?

No, the boat looked smaller. Blue Hull. I know that Delta had put the superstructure on the hull when Albatross was still at the dock. It was quite a sight. I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything. Project Z didn't look like anyone was going to finish it anytime soon.

Delta's new 210 ft (64m) launch is undergoing sea trials. Nice looking yacht from the pics that have been posted online.

Here are some photos of it. Her name is Satori, which is the replacement for the Heesen under the same name. It seems that if you really want to build a secretive yacht, Delta Marine is the way to go. They are far enough off of the radar that their launches go unnoticed.

Would love to hear some opinions on the quality of their builds.

One of the best in the business. I have run two of them, and have multiple friends currently running Deltas.

Only time I really heard much about them was when we were in the PNW in 2014. Here is South Florida, they're largely overlooked.
