I would not expect to see a lot of hull changes because of these new stabilizers for the facts I mentioned before. If you design an attribute that requires the specific stabilizer and it fails, you are stuck in the bad operation zone. Certainly you have to allow space and proper location for them, but what else?
They work primarily in reducing roll and sway and some yaw but can not make the same impact on pitch (head seas) , heave or surge. There are other stabilizers that address pitch to a certain level, but now the system complexity is beyond the scope of normal recreational operation. You would almost need three systems to cover all bases, and they can only reduce the impacts of the physics of the hull/ocean response, not eliminate them.
Typically, the rec market has transitioned to seeking features and Gyros hit that sweet spot. But if you are a designer or design firm, you will still focus on a sea worthy design that meets the vessels stated objectives/requirements, derived with and in some cases without client input.

It is nearly impossible for a stabilizer to stabilize pitch. Humphree's do the best job in that, but more or less because they're a trim tab. The side fins and gyro's don't make much if any difference when it comes to pitch from what I've seen.....but generally if you're running on plane you can do an adequate job of that by properly adjusting the trim tabs.

I really appreciate all of the input here. I had Carver engineering work with Seaseeker run the analysis on roll reduction with "Seaseeker 9" on this brand new C52 fly configuration. Needless to say I am impressed with the work Carver did and the roll analysis from Seaseeker. The roll reduction was between 80-90% for the boat. My argument on adding this option is that my wife (and others who will use the boat) find it extremely fatiguing to be on the boat with any rocking. My wife went to boat show recently in Newport and walking on the docks she got sea sick. I see that this 10% investment on $1M+ boat means she and others have a better chance to enjoy the ocean boat trips and allow us to use the boat more often. Truly a a great option for those this sensitive.
We have designed in the option with Carver on this C52 and expectations are that it will be high value for everyone. It will not eliminate roll just have a fighting chance on reducing it. The goal is for all passengers is to love the boat, have fun and not arrive at our destination sea sick. I certainly appreciate it is an expensive option but I am excited to have it in the build. I thank the engineers responsible for this new technology for those who need it.

Keep in mind Seakeeper does an excellent job at 10 knots or less or drifting/anchored. BUT when running fast they probably only offer a 20% roll reduction on most boats.

Congratulations on your 52 Carver, SeaKeeper is a great option to get more people into boating and hopefully stay in it longer :)

Just to follow up based on concerns raised here. Had SeaKeeper provide additional details on roll reduction performance while running and while dropping slightly it holds up pretty well even at 10 knots. Still seeing 70%+ reductions in rolling. One caution and recommendation: Do not undersize these units to get best performance and request the actual analysis from SeaKeeper.

How much does it help at faster speeds? I don't know the cruising speed of your boat.

I will find out what I can from SeaKeeper. I am sure it is lower performance at higher cruising speeds. I will take what we can get. I am fairly sure it is a diminishing returns even you were to install a larger device so we sized SeaKeeper 9 based on that curve and ultimately cost.
