Thanks for the video of an awesome looking yacht especially at around the 2:30 mark where she appeared to be running flat out slicing so beautifully through the water.

How much speed do you think she was making at that point, 15 knots?

Is it just me? But she seems to throw up a lot of water across her bow.

I was thinking the same thing.

With a bulbous bow, would empty forward fuel tanks account for that much spray? I like to hear what a N/A has to say about that.

Actually no more than other yachts at the same speed.

What may make it seem that way is the relative lower height of her bow compared to other yachts of the same length going about the same speed.

She is only one deck high at her bow while many other yachts of the same length include the main deck as part of the bow so they are really two decks high at the bow instead of one thus creating this optical illusion.

    Bilgin 160 M&M

Here are some new shots of her View Boat Photos - ************** all decked out with fit and furnishings.

I can't say I care too much for the "period" furniture decorating the interior although it does "work" if you like that look but IMHO everything else looks fantastic!

I can see myself sitting on her fine fantail now sipping a martini, shaken not stirred http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUUq5mRCimo of course!

Sweet! Looks to be very nice fit and finish on the pilot house, stairs, woodwork, bath, floors, etc!

See me sitting on the fantail sipping my martini?

The Bilgin Yacht website has a few more new pics of "M"!

Is it me or does the bridge console look void of screens. I am only seeing three screens/displays. Normally you do not see no less than 4 displays on a yacht this size. I guess those screens will be able to switch between different interfaces. Switching it from Radar display to the security cameras etc.

The Bilgin 48-meter "Nerissa" has been sold and she now goes by the name "Starburst III" under her new ownership.

There is NO way you could use the hot tub underway. Even at slow speeds with it's bow location, water would be sloshing everywhere.

Speaking of the bow, how do you deploy the the wet bikes? With a rider on board?
