Seen in St Michaels Md. I saw no badges on her. She was perfect. Woodwork, paint, and my kind of style. Really a beautiful boat.
A parting shot. Her stern view of the house reminds me of a Huckins but I never saw one this new or modern looking.
"Magpie" built by Lyman Morse to a Ward Setzer design in Thomaston, Me. Now named "Resilent" I believe.
Disregard my last post. CaptHolli is correct. The boat is Magpie, ex-Discovery, now Resilient. The job of identifying yachts would be a lot easier if new owners would stop changing names! http://www.setzerdesign.com/completed-yachts/resilient-commuter-refit
Hard to tell these two beauties apart. A few years difference and a stylized window line from Setzer design in the pilot house are about the only difference outboard profile wise. I've been aboard Magpie many times but only drooled over Wombat from the dock @ Ocean Reef club. Lyman Morse pulled out all of the stops joinery wise for Magpie as the owners emphasis was a mahogany interior that had no peer. You wont be able to find one "bung" in the interior of this vessel as all the panels and solid stock are blind fastened and the wood work in this boat is truly a work of art. I doubt that Excellence would disappoint in this regard also.
I've been aboard them as well. The joinery work was a work of art. If ever there existed a collector yacht market, both of the boats would be a good hold.
I too have been aboard both and was awestruck each time. Very special special yachts in a class of their own.
I believe that is the old "Amphitrite". Launched in 2001 by Turquoise Yachts, previously known as "Vajoliroja".
The 156' yacht Arriva (previously Anatolia) was built in 2001 by Turquoise in Turkey, steel hull, alu superstructure and twin Cats...
