I am reading that S/Y "A" has been delivered. Apparently a ceremony was held in Kiel. How true is this?

On this site that I read on SY A will leave on Sunday and head for Spain where apparently it'll go under more sea trails and interior finishing then be officially handed over to her owners in late 2017.

I'm amazed at the lack of pictures with the delivery being such an event as it was discussed the issue with her crossing under the Bridge and draft clearance being an issue on her way. I'm sure she has no furniture and has very low water and fuel so she can draw as little as possible. Like it or not this yacht pushes the envelope on every level. from what I gather she might be the most expensive yacht ever built maybe more expensive then Eclipse and Dilbar?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was more expensive then Eclipse or Dilbar. I mean the technology that goes into it is crazy enough.

The green on the front looks very interesting to me. Unlike most people I honestly like SY A.

The green appears to be simply the colour of the water that the uplights in the bulb is shining through. I am sure as she gets in cleaner and clearer water the underwater lights will look more pure... Of course we know that her underwater lights can change to a myriad of colours.

Ah yea true that make sense. Either way it is interesting to see and like you said when she gets in cleaner and clearer waters it will surely look better.

Actually I am pretty sure thats an actual green led lighting. There was a picture of SY A coming from sea trials with different color light on her bow.
