    You cannot even dive into the water because you are miles up in the air. This is like a cruise ship, a hotel on the water. No pleasurable sailing experience here.

    I hate the look so much I like it:) Couple of questions for you guys;
    1) on the top deck it looks like the end of the deck is a moving part did you guys see that? What kind of set up is that?
    2) I couldn't locate the 3rd pool can someone point it out please?
    thanks

    Also don't you guys find it amazing also how little glass is used for sunlight to come in the indoor living spaces? Seems to me it would be very dark and clausturophobic inside? What are your thoughts?

    I think those large windows throughout will help but there are quite a bit of hull openings which will bring in light.

    Of the two, I would say MY A is the more successful design. She's a large yacht but isn't very "bulky" looking. SY A resembles a floating apartment block with sails, and I think that's what is jarring. I always associate sailing yachts with low profiles, long overhangs, and there's really none of that here. But, I'm not paying the bills so kudos to the owners for stepping outside the box to make something original.

    Yep I like her too. the motoryacht "A" people wondered how could someone build such an ugly vessel. There were lots of horrible comments too then as time passed she grew on people and the narrative changed. Now that comprehensive and proper interior images and even video onboard are available as a result of her being for sale... more people like her. She is stunning! I think the new sail-assisted motoryacht "A" will eventually grow on people too.

    silence before the storm? I'm dying for updates on this project. I am not a big fan of her, but sheer size and complexity of the project I can't help myself but be curious about it.

    The pools are located as follows:

    1) The large pool on the main-deck between the fore and main mast
    2) Another pool right aft on the main deck (hard to see in the videos because it has a similar colour to ship structure)
    3) Another on the deck above it

    Both the large pool and the highest pool aft appear to have retractable awnings to cover them.

    The windows apparently have a magnifying effect so that should help increase the amount of light coming in. I suspect the designers ran into top-weight issues and that helps explain the relative lack of glass (and the deep draft).

    What SYA does demonstrate is the continuing trend for the owners of these very large yachts to pursue extreme levels of onboard privacy- we see the same on Eclipse and the new Dilbar.

    There are some pictures online of her latest seatrials. She looks finished. This could very much be her latest seatrials before delivery.
