    Hey all!

I just bought a Riva SUP50 in great shape. However! Engines are a bear to access. Top access is in the main salon under soundproofing and carpet.

Any thoughts as to how to do this better? I want to retain the soundproofing but make them much easier to access? Teak with soundproofing? Custom carpet cut along the access lines?

    Thank you!

Hmm. May be you can try to do a small sealed door access so you pass from the lazarette in the aft cockpit?

Yeah I think? I was looking at some other threads and apparently people are not a fan of carpet in a motor yacht.

Says who? Carpet does a great job at muffling noise. It's also not slippery like the interior wood floors are.
