    When a statement refers to a custom or semi custom builder of luxury yachts as Canadian, what in broad terms, can I infer from the above definition? Specifically should I assume the boat was built in Canada. Or the writer believes the boat was built in Canada or ---------?

    Nothing. You have to know the specifics and people making such statements may use them a lot of ways.
