Am I the only one that thinks they are similar?

There was a great deal of discussion about exactly that when the thing became public. Some of it is in the early pages of this thread.

You could speculate on the origin of Starck's design, but I can state with relative authority the Zumwalt DDX design predates anything we've ever covered on YF by more than 2 decades. The precursor was the Navy's Sea Shadow, built in 1984 as a test platform for reduced radar and wake signature. I was involved in a parallel project at the time.

OT: I have just finished reading an interesting article about Project IX-529, Sea Shadow was totally dismantled in 2012.

Wow very nice finding! The video and pictures of "A" are awesome. I wonder how she handles in the rough seas??

I could not see the video, because my browser deactivates the Flashplayer automatically for safety reasons. When I manually activated it, I could see the video.

Great pictures and a very nice video. Y.CO knows how to advertise yachts. A stunning yacht but due to its size, price tag and very special interior design and layout not easy to sell.

Although I had an idea what the interior looked like... the video and photos show it in much more detail than i know it to be and... that is a fantastic design overall... well ahead of its time in my opinion.

Yes but not in that detail and some angles I've never seen before.

What is that "bed" with interesting attachments in the gym? Is it what I think it is? :)

If you think it's a pilates table, then you've thought correctly.

Easily the most beautiful yacht built to date, the incredible thing is that she seems to be in such great condition, it looks like she has really been well looked after.
