    Speed Trial, need to tweak them props.
    Had a nice day on the water.
    Capt J is a great guy, first time I met him.
    Also a good driver, but he forgot the Bikini Girls. :D

    Yeah, so far I've had the Arneson/Rolla prop guru working on the props, he was with Rolla back in the beginning as one of the head engineers as well as does a lot of the props for the superboats. We've changed everything on the Rolla props from the camber, pitch, cup, blade shape etc. and have them down to less than 1% prop slip when working the numbers on paper, but are a little over 100 rpms shy of WOT. when we started we were 400 rpms shy of WOT, so far picked up 5 knots and 300 rpms from where we started with. He wanted to go on a seatrial and see what he needed to do to tweak them a bit more to find the rpm's and a bit more stern lift. More pitch at the hub for stern lift, less pitch closer to the blade tips for more rpms, need to keep the heavy cup is the next step. I took Norseman along for the ride and he's a great guy and had a good seatrial. But a bit faster than the blazing speed of the Duffy he's used to :D

    Actually fuel usage is pretty good for a 59' express, 27 knots cruise at 45 gph. Top is 32.5 knots at 56 gph, It has 8v92 DDECs with 760hp,but really could use a set of CAT C18 ACERTS with 1150hp.

    In a sad Comparison I'm flying to Nassau in the morning to bring a LLoydship motoryacht I manage back at a blistering 9-10 knots.....sigh.
