Admin Edit: The posts in this thread have been split from another thread on the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show for better indexing There were 1/2 a dozen Riva's there.
Are you including brokerage boats or talking new boats shown by Ferretti? They may have switched some things out.
New boats. They had a really big express, 80 something feet, a few small ones with wood decks, a few smaller ones without wood decks.....
I know they have a Domino in inventory. It's 86', so guessing that's what it was. They have a 63', 44's and 33's and a 27' in inventory as well, so guessing a Virtus, then a Rivarama, an Aquariva and an Iseo. I think we're seeing a lot about the show just from this thread. Very little discussion. The only photos were of the empty walks. No excitement of any sort. No one is talking about anything that impressed them.
It was called the Riva 88 'Florida'. I found the name questionable because I doubt it would appeal to Florida boaters.
Ok. That's a new model for them. I found the name questionable. Oh it would very much appeal to two Florida boaters I know, but then so do a thousand other boats it seems.
I did like the color on the Riva Florida and felt it was a good looking boat. There was an entire row of smaller Riva's directly in front of it.
That makes sense. I like the "super ego".....hehehe.....Riva does have some strange names for some of them.
Well, we have a Vertigo. In English it's a condition where you're dizzy, you may feel lightheaded or lose your balance. If you feel that the room is spinning, you have vertigo. (or perhaps drunk or on drugs, depending on the individual situation.).
