Teak deck recommendation?

    we new to redo the teak on the swim platform of the 70 Johnson I run... I m starting to get estimates, any recommendation in south Florida?

    Teak decking systems, they have been at it and do a great job. Another company I used that also did a great job on adding teak to a flybridge and steps going up to it, are located in Harbourtowne Marina (Dania) OP woodworking.

    call the Viking Yard in Riviera Beach. They have at least two outside contractors which meet the high standards of installing teak onto new Vikings.

    Our original teak came from them and so that's where we'd go for any replacement or issues. Also, anyone with teak would benefit from the video's on their web site regarding care and installation. We also do use their cleaners and they may not be any better than others on the market, but we trust them.

    Or replace it with synthetic

    I've had good luck with all of those options.

    Just did a teak deck replacement on my 65 Viking,Used a salty old carpenter that hand laid each piece,incredible job [email deleted]

    Thanks guys... I had both TDS and Decksters on th boat to measure and give me estimates, another one coming this week...

    Synthetic? Nah... Don't think so :)
