That is interesting. Expanding their portfolio after a few years of building only semi customs. With all these yards entering the 80m+ and even 100m market the trend for bigger yachts seems to continue at least up to a certain size.
A&R, Benetti and now Amels are good examples.

Nice, thanks! The best looking interior of a LE 212 so far!

Yeah "Z" appears quite stunning... that Makassar veneered table in the saloon has me captivated!

Amels launched with "Madame Kate" their second LE 199 although she is painted all white which looks better than "Event" with her grey hull IMO. Check out DMY for photos of this newbuild.

Yup, I like the all white better.

Well it looks more plain than "Event" however, the all white makes the design flow harmoniously. Interesting name though... named after the owner's dog or something?

I don't think I saw it mentioned here, but in their latest magazine, Inside Amels 10/2014, it is mentioned that they are building a second LE242, delivery 2017 if I recall correctly. Also, it was interesting to note that the hull for the first LE272 came from Romania, not Poland where their hulls usually come from.

Amels launched another 55m with a dark blue hull. Additionally, the 55m Step One is for sale asking €37m.

Looks basically like a slightly larger "Deniki".

The superstructure for the first LE272 also arrived recently at Amels

Is that the 17th 171/177/180? That's pretty impressive

Exactly it is the 17th. 6 Limited Editions 171, 3 Limited 177 and 8 Limited 180 so far. Indeed impressive! Plus 3 Le 212 and 2 LE 199.

Two LE 242 and one LE272. That's a good amount since the LE line was launched in 2007.
