Kusch News

    Have you heard about the V853 currently under constrcution at Kusch yachts?!

    I think that is very interesting(!) because the company was founded by Richard Hein, ex CEO of OceAnco, based in Monaco and yachts were scheduled to get built at two yards near Tokio.
    And as far as I am aware two of them were already sold... the launch of V851 was supposed to be in 2008 but I guess nothing went really on. So they deceided to built these yachts now in cooperation with Kusch Yachts in Germany... has anybody more information?!!

    She supposed to be tentatively launched to go in dry dock very early in 2013...we will see if that happens.

    Kusch Yachts was founded by Claus Kusch back 1981. Claus oversaw the construction of many yachts until he passed away in '04. I'll miss him and his very strong opinions.

    Sounds like Germany now. Not sure if some transfer took place or what went on with the start in Japan.

    Edit: Sounds like the Tsunami caused them to relocate their building to Kusch.

    Any news on this yacht? Kucsh's brochure says a 2014 launch and she was transferred to the shed in December 2012.

    There was a photo published tonight on another site showing the new 101m Kusch project launched.Different design though..

    Yeah I have seen a couple other photos, her stern clearly displays her name, no tarp there, I think it is just the side boards that are still covered well up til recently.

    i thought i'd share a photo with you guys, that i've taken about 2 weeks ago. when i've been to kusch, i was hoping that Tatoosh would be visible there as well, but she was already in the dock and completly invisible...

    It appears as though "I Dynasty" has been delivered. She arrived in Southampton today of all places.
