    Installing fireplace

building a cabinet to enclose my fireplace. 1st stage complete, its electric, and well vented, replacing an original electric heater installed by Post. Same circuit. Cabinet doors are soon to come. Wood used is quatersawn sapele, matches pretty close to original mahogany.

When I started this project 6 years ago I bought marine plywood with a quarter sawn mahogany (some call it ribboned mahogany) from Dixie plywood. Was very happy with it, since then I have discovered M&M hardwoods in holly hill, they stock a lot of rough sawn hardwoods. They have been a great source until this project. I purchased 3/4" sapele quarter sawn laminated ply from them, only to find ALOT of delamination. They quoted me a price from Dixie, and from their supplier in Deland, I went for the cheaper price from Deland, my mistake! I am sure they would have replaced it, but I choice to work around it, hopfully it will not continue to delame.

I really like that bridge ladder with the center offset.

That will save you a lot of square feet and enable you to have a seat or mini-mezzanine against the rear bulkhead. love it.

    really nice

I would like to fly the American flag on my boat. I am looking for suggestions on what size and where. I am willing to fabricate something if I see a great idea. Out of the way, easy to get to, nothing to tangle in etc. No tower, hardtop, not really a fan of flying off the outriggers, only need one flag. Pictures would be nice.

You are doing a fantastic job on that redo, they could use you in Maryland! Post usually has a center transom mounted flag. I'll send you a picture of mine if I can figure out how to upload it. Keep us posted on your Post
