Fantastic! ... Beaulieu, as you said was very different to how I remember it only a few years ago. Cannes was a NIGHTMARE! San Remo is a nice place to keep a boat and half the price of France but Imperia ( where I intended to go as our home port) is a disaster...the marina is still half a finished building site with no facilities and a harbour that is silting up before the infrastructure is even completed .

I love this thread. I love this ship.
You have to tell us about that ride. looks like confused 2,3 to some 4 footers. You looked rock solid doing (8?) under 10 knots?
Oh, come on and brag,, faster than 10? She looks beautiful.

Thanks...It was an amazing day. We had been in St Tropez for a few days but after 2 weeks holiday aboard I had to return to work in London so we started back for our home port (San Remo) around 10am. I wanted some pics taken for an article in next months Motorboat and Yachting Magazine and also in the Jan edition of Boat International Refit Annual, so I arranged with the chopper to rendezvous at midday in the bay of Frejus and take pics of us under way. Conditions couldn't have been better for photography ..a warm day with a clear blue sky and f5 gusting 6 (and even sometimes f7) so no other boats were out and we had the bay to ourselves with a choppy blue sea with white caps for a background. We were charging along at our cursing speed of 8 knots and as you say we were rock solid. Quite amazing, really. David

Gosh, is'nt to nice to have an Uncle with a berth there. We used to keep one of our 38'Sunseeker tenders there.

Amazing and rock solid. I knew I was in love with your ship starting 2 years ago.
Near like a drug and she is on the wrong side of the world. Please keep sending us your wonderful updates and pictures. I just near spilled my rum again (near, but saved again).
Been a lover of those Gardeners also.
