Bait Freezer for 43 Post

    Hi!

    I want to put a bait freezer in my cockpit. Currently there is an old washing machine in the starboard lockers where I would like the freezer.

    The dimensions are:
    19 1/2" deep (fore-aft)
    21 1/4" athwartships
    33 1/2" deep

    Problem is, I am having a tough time finding a commercially available chest freezer that will fit, even with the 3.5 Cu Ft models.

    Any ideas?

    I am attaching an old pic (from YW listing) of that starboard side locker.

    Can you fabricate a fibreglass insert and install a chilling plate with the mechanicals below the insert?

    That's an interesting thought, I didn't consider this. Of course I would have to insulate the box as well, but this sounds possible...

    I have the OEM bait freezer.

    it is just that an insulated fiberglass box with a chill plate.

    It can freeze or refrigerate.

    The compressor is mounted under the cockpit.

    The ice maker and bait freezer are a must have.
