As it was a nice video, it must be OK...:) The paper magazine will be out any day now and I hope they have some interesting fuel figures there...

    Here is a picture from the testing in mid November;

The smartest boat in this class I have ever seen making it my favourite boat! It plays definitely in another league than those from Sunseeker, Azimut etc! What an incredible job Lars..

the online version of mby is available and they are impressed with the range and fuel usage.
    7.5 knots. 2250 nm
    11 knots. 1124 nm
    14 knots. 625 nm
    19.2 knots. 595 nm
    26.1 knots. 518 nm
    32.4 knots. 452 nm
    35.7 knots. 411 nm
    38.2 knots. 374nm

Very positive review. only remarks were: maybe larger hull windows and the controls were a bit of a stretch.
But a class of it's own

One of the better reviews I have read.

Did they say how much fuel she holds and I wonder if there is an option or the possibility for larger fuel tanks to increase her range to transatlantic?

For those of you who are going to the upcoming Miami Boat Show I understand that there will be two Delta's on display, the carbon fiber Yacht Delta 54 IPS and their new Delta 33 Open at Ramp 14, place 420 & 421.

Great Review Of The Delta 54 IPS

There is a detailed review of the Delta 54 IPS with triple 435hp Volvo Penta IPS600s in the August issue of Yachting Magazine that declares, "Delta's 54 IPS is a high-tech, quick and think differently yacht carving a wake for others to follow"! Some of the photos can be found on Delta's https://www.facebook.com/deltapowerboats/photos/a.698318536863325.1073741825.203403953021455/881636315198212/?type=1&theater page. The last page of the review is devoted to Delta's flagship 88 footer.

It is a must read for those of you considering the 54 for your next adventure on the high seas!

    She is a real beauty!!!

I am going to have to pick that one up. Trying to steer one of our clients in the direction of the 54, as he is looking for a new boat.

I hope we get the review for the 80 soon. Really looking forward to that one.

I was too Scot, but the 2nd Delta 80 was behind schedule so it must go directly to Genoa to be delivered to her new owner. It was the only review that was going to break me away from work this year. It was loaded on a transport ship today...

Bummer. I am sure we will get one eventually. I know nearly everyone here has been looking forward to it. We will just have to be a bit more patient and wait for the next launch. We know how hard you work Carl, so take a break and have a Happy Birthday.

Lars, when is the next one launching?

Congrats Lars! Maybe the Motorboat of the Year Award will bring some gravity to your ability to find center. ;)
