    Post Rendezvous

I spoke with the new owner of Post over the weekend, and the Rendezvous is still scheduled for next weekend, so there is still time to make your reservations. It would be a good time to talk with John, about all the negative things being said about the NEW POST. I will be there, and will be looking forward to meeting other Post owners.

I seem to have a leak in a fuel tank. So, I'll drive up Saturday. Look for a fat bald guy probably wearing an Egg Harbor hat!

Not sure what you mean by "all this chatter". I see two post owners having a conversation, and I don't see your name on the invitation list. Keep your two cents to yourself next time.

    Excuse me!!

You're having a private conversation??? Read by 283 people so far!!!

"All this chatter" was a quick comment on the lack of comments to this thread. With all of the Post threads that I am a part of, I did not believe my comment would be out of scope.

Who really cares about this rendezvous, I agree with Ralph's comments, not to mention the event is one week away and there is still room for others to attend. It appears that people are loosing interest in the new Post smoke screen!!!

Ditto on your comments - Seahawk made a nice entrance into our group, ya think? Same attitude as the "New Post". Are they related, dunno.

    Ralph,
I imagine it will be over by the time you get there from Fla. in the ole Bert, unless you left last week or so.

There was one other (only other?) that was driving up also. Maybe catch a ride.
    LOL
    I got to stop this.

I really do wish the Rendezvous well. Please report back with good things Bob.

I will, As former Commodore of the Classic Egg Harbor Club, I may mention to them the importance of legacy owners to future business!

Very nice people with a nice relaxing facility. They have good intentions for the brand, I will help them if I can. First of a couple rendezvous pictures:

    Let's try this again.

Bob is was great getting to meet you, and your family. You should have stayed for dinner. After you left, a 1980 46' Post showed up, and she looked really good. They need to set a weekend for the rendezvous, and keep it the same every year, that way it will be a lot easier for everyone to put on their schedules. Thanks for posting the photo, the old Sea Hawk looks pretty good.

    So...did anyone go

If anyone went to the rendezvous, I'd like to hear their feedback, i.e.-how many boats, value of attending, anything interested happening as far as Post re-fit/repair/new builds starting.

I've considered going the past two rendezvous, but it is quite the expense getting there and paying for tickets and dockage, etc. for questionable benefit. I’d just as well go to a more desirable port for the weekend. But if the rendezvous had dozens of attendees (boats) and was well received, I’d consider attending next year. I'd really just be going to swap stories and ideas with other post owners about upgrades and maintenance tips. I can really do that on this forum and save the money! Plus, I don’t want to be one of only 5 or so boats that show up.
