Tonight it appears that the vacuum pump on my head has quit working. Its still getting fresh water okay and the seal is fine just no vacuum pump making its noise. Assume the pump is bad. Does this require replacing just the motor or the whole pump assembly?
Is there anything else that might cause the pump to quit working. Breaker is on and will check for voltage tomorrow but assume it is okay.

Check the vacuum switch. If it is not working the pump will not come on.

And check if there is a fuse for the pump as well.

Determined problem. It was not related to the pump. Unfortunately its the battery charger and the whole 24v system is down. Will post for any advice.

Install a blue sea digital volt meter with alarm in a place where you can easily see it... Saloon, galley, wherever you spend a lot of time. Way too often meters are buried behind solid doors where you can't see then until notice the lights are dim .. The blue seas have a buzzer alarm you can set..
