I think it is still among the cheapest fuel stops. I fueled up at the St Augustine municipal (city?) marina at the typical 4.2ish a gal and my neighbor was going east about 2 miles for $3.69 a gallon. Yikes

I found that Moore Head City municiple marina had much cheaper fuel than Coinjock one time 60 cents a gallon, but it might have just been a fluke and when they bought theirs compared to coinjock

From day to day, marina and supplier to marina and supplier, plus all the special prices and discounts, fuel is hard to predict as to who will be charging what and who cheaper, we've found. The price where we were this morning was $4.36 but perhaps could have gotten it down to $4.20 or so if we tried. However, by 1 pm we'll be where we've been quoted $3.75. That's one advantage to larger fuel capacities too, that you can be selective. $0.45 per gallon savings on approximately 2000 gallons is worth being selective. Amazing the difference 80 miles apart.

Active Captain web site shows fuel prices on their interactive chart. Tricky part is that most marinas report price per gallon with all taxes but a few slippery ones say plus tax in fine print
    3.99 so jersey
    3.90 Beaufort docks
    4.19 St Aug Mun
    3.79 Coinjock (without steak)
    3.80 Annapolis
4.30 west palm plus tax  that includes waxing your Aston Martin

I was on a yacht today that filled up in Port Dalhousie Ontario two miles west of the Welland Canal, diesel was $149.0 a liter = $ 5.58 a US Gallon
    Port Colborne Ontario was $ 140.0 a liter = $ 5.25 a US Gallon

Honestly, I don't buy beer so don't know if that's good or bad. Diesel fuel I know. Just purchased 2100 gallons an hour or so ago.

You're right. I rarely advertise for anybody. There's only one marina on the east cost that there's absolutely no reason to go to unless your transiting the coast. Wearing a Coinjock T advertises you.

As for Moorehead City, I went over there this year for the first time. Since I don't fish it holds absolutely no allure to me. I'd rather go to Beaufort for a hamburger at Clawsons. When you're running a toy that costs the better part of a million dollars and burns 30, 50 or 100 gph I'd never make "saving money" my reason to stop anywhere.

It's Morehead City and the burgers at the Ruddy Duck beat Clawson's all to shame. Now a hot dog at the Royal James, that I might understand...

So who said I can spell?:D If I hadn't had a hamburger at the Ruddy Duck I might give that to you, but I have. So we'll just have to chalk that up to different tastes.

    Fuel pricing

I watch the waterway guide for fuel pricing. They usually try to keep it up to date.
