I have a 93 Carver Mariner that has some major leaks into the salon. I have sealed the railings and the cleats etc and it still leaks to the point of soaking the carpet and the walls and cushins of the setties, especially during heavy rains. It does'nt appear to be coming from the windows although I may be wrong. I haven't found any stress cracks in the deck that would allow water entry either but it does appear to be coming from topside. I love the boat, but this is really stressing me out. Any help finidng the leaks would be greatly appreciated.

I had a leak where water was coming in around the fuel tank cap and finding it's way into the salon. We caulked around the fitting on the gunnel and no more leak.

BTW, I think you may want to consider posting this in the Carver section. The Admin don't take kindly to Carver questions posted outside the Carver section of the forum. As much as this may seem to fit under the heading of "technical issue", I assure you that's where the bosses will want it posted. I'm not a Mod here but made a similar mistake myself when I joined and just offering some friendly advice.

    Welcome to the forum!

    Capt.flip,

As Carver38 mentioned, posting brand/model specific questions to their respective forums is best. I've moved this thread to the Carver section, and retitled it earlier as well to better reflect what it's actually about.
