Hey everyone, I've got a small favor to ask of you all that won't take more than minute of your time... Porsche Canada is running a photography contest to commemorate the launch of the 2015 911 Targa. The best images of unique rooftop design and architecture submitted get 3 days to drive and photograph a 911 Targa and a Nikon Df SLR camera. Voting is quick, requires no registration or anything special... just a minute to scroll through the gallery and click "Vote". (You can vote once a day I think.) https://designaboveall.ca/gallery.php
Voted. Took me a minute to understand why your were doing this. I only saw 5 images in the gallery because the scroll right button is so transparent. Place your pointer over the right side of the image gallery and click it 8 times. That will bring up Kevin's pic (shown in his post above). That said, based on Nick Murray's experience with the new 911, I'd rather not support the brand... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhCcDWuR0Sg&list=PLLaohamb74-Zo91uKIUEfPvNmTtUm7k1T https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAUtFr-N7Wk&list=PLLaohamb74-Zo91uKIUEfPvNmTtUm7k1T Porsche finally stepped up, but it took pressure from social media to make them do the right thing... Thanks guys. In truth Carl, despite my heritage, if I had the means you'd be more likely to find a GTR in my driveway than a 911*. But who could pass up the chance for 3 days, free and clear, in a drop-top Porsche? *(More likely still, a stripped out STi, caged, Ohlins suspension, sequential gearbox, anti-lag, etc etc... )
Would like to show support. Need someone to vote for me. This is the reason. P.S.- Is this yours? P.P.S.- Redmond is having fun - new system - changed to much from XP.
Ok, so I looked several times and do not see KEVINS name on any of the gallery's. Am I blind or what ?
As of today, you'll have to scroll to the right 12 times to see my image. It's not particularly well thought out as there's no way to get a direct link to one particular image. And people that submitted early on are now a long way from being viewed by new visitors.
Yep, you can vote daily, and you can also vote from different IPs as well. I tried it the first day after I'd submitted... I was able to vote from the office, and then again with the same computer when I got home. I've only done that twice though... I feel guilty voting for myself to begin with.
Ahhhhh, remember, your vote is really my intended vote; because their system and mine are not on the same page - not your fault; rather, their faulty code.
