Thanks. Interesting too that they provided no time for bidders to topple the winning bid. And the "In Excess of $30 million." Perhaps they got more than the lien holder was due so didn't really care beyond that. Plus they got decent market for it. $30-$35 million is a decent retail on that boat. The most similar I know of is listed at just under $37 million. Resell market on Trinity appears to be very weak. May reflect some of the deals they made on new.

Yup, you've found my not to be named source. I feel that she has a really good interior, better than the $37 million comp you are mentioning. Carpe Diem seems to be priced the highest in the market at just under $54 million. It appears that American mega yachts seem to be the least expensive on the resell market (behind Turkish, then Italian and other Southern European yard, with the Northern European yards commanding the highest price). Is there any reason for this in terms of quality? Or is it more of a name recognition and lifestyle sort of thing?

Well, I recall that the Trinity Group (John Dane et al) under the older VT Halter regime was bidding on the first round of LNG Carrier vessels in the 70's/80's.

So I guess experience is a relative term as he is still part of the team that is running the "show" today. I think they may have more resilience than you give them credit for............

Whatever happened to Cocoa Bean, all seems to be pretty quiet about her, unless I missed it?

AIS has her in Fort Lauderdale. The only other photo that I have seen of her is an Instagram post.

Sounds like she's still being worked on by Rybovich.

    Mi Sueno Name Change

It looks like MiSueno is now Skyfall. This is according to the AIS Website and heading to New York.

Maybe she is a replacement until the new Skyfall (or whatever Bond movie they want to name it after) is launched in three years.

She was still at Rybovich a couple of weeks ago with some scaffolding around her. More than likely turned the AIS off Last month due to all the interest, Not that uncommon in these type of situations. give RJC yachts a call for comment as they beat their drum the hardest about this amazing launch, maybe Bob Curry can shed some light on when the world can expect the christening.

As of yesterday CB was still at Rybo getting work done. Interesting lines to this yacht, especially the superstructure and enclosed transom.
Looks like she's getting her name board installed.

Cleaned it up a bit. I think Cocoa Bean deserves a little extra attention.
