I failed to receive auto-notifications from threads I participated in yesterday. I recently installed a module, so it could be related. Anyone else?

Or better yet, respond to this post and see if you get a mailer from the person posting after you.

    Thanks!

You won't get a response to a thread till there is another post after you subscribe

Did not make myself clear. Mean that I have not been receiving anything either in other threads. Now, I can also say haven't received your response here.

I hate auto-notification. The darned things just clutter up your e-mail inbox.

    Auto Responders.

    Hi there,

I don't activate response notification, but I can relate to the issue with a similar incident; I did not get the annual happy B D notification which I guess uses the same parity in the mailer script. (No worries there, I still love YachtForums and I don't consider it a joyful occasion anyway!).

Assumption I: The mailer demon has a wrong address (or data field) to the user data table, so is not getting valid data. Should show an error message in the dump file.

Assumption II: Or most likely, during the recent security upgrades, the security bot came to assuming the mailer demon access to the tables and fields, since it is numerous, and at irregular patterns and/or sequences, assuming it is phishing for data or spaming the table, therefore blocking its access. This will also show in the dump files somewhere!!

I know you are aware of this and even have more suspects since you know how your baby runs, but this is my way to show how much I feel with you on the hard work and effort needed to keep the tiniest bit of the forums working conveniently for this community's members.

Chapeau Ba' Carl to your spirit and vigilance.

    Cheers,
