After many years of working with Volvo Penta and CAT, I'm off.

I am going to join with some old mates in a Dealership of Mercruiser/Cummins and Onan.

Please be gentle with me as I learn my new groove.

Oh, sorry for some of our International members, 'Going To The Dark Side' is a joke.

Mercruisers are painted black, not the Volvo Red of old.

    Very Old.

    Thanks Lars,

As a Dealer I would quite like to make some profit, a new concept to some. :)

Did Volvo Penta change the Service Center thing at your market as they did in Sweden too..?

Volvo may not have you anymore, but we've still got your Volvo knowledge. Now we can count on some knowledge from the dark side as well. Congratulations and good luck Fish.

Hallo Fish, my non-native english ear did not really understand that sentence but I know what You mean :D. Wish You all the luck for Your new professional development and please try to keep Your great sense of humour, regardless of the colour of the engines. Under the bottom line, all of them are only fuel-noise converters.

    Things could be much worse.

Merc may be based in black, but cummins & Oh-No's were based in white. Hopefully you can keep a white hat on. At least feel better about it.
Best wishes and have fun supporting your new product line.

Thank G_D you cleared that up!
When I read the heading I thought you were about to "come out" with a Michael Sam moment!;)
Not that there is anythin' wrong with that either!
    Good luck Mate!

The old adage..."if you want to go fast, you buy a black motor, but if you want to get home, you buy another color" comes to mind. ;)

Wishing you the very best in all of your endeavors Dave, but I can't say the same about the un-dynamic duo of Mercedes and Cigarette on display at the Miami Boat Show. Mercedes obviously thinks offshore go-fast guys are a target audience; preferring style, statement and status over reliability. Duh!

Thank God the boat is powered by Mercruiser because you'd need a lifetime subscription to SeaTow if it was powered by Mercedes!

Thanks Bud, I think I'll like working with the Audi V8s.

A mate has just contacted me about XS engines for the Trans Europe race. Kinda nice being Tax free here.

We have an owner new to Zeus drives. He had Volvo IPS before, but had struggled with the new system for the first few trips. He now loves them, much more than his old IPS.

Good luck with the new boat. :)
