I'm building a swim platform shower for a 3607 aft cabin and I need some measurements if anyone can do that for me I will be eternally grateful.

What I need is the distance from the stern rail to the deck, the distance from that to the rub rail and then to the swim platform.

I tried to get it from my boat but it's shrink wrapped and almost impossible to be accurate.

    Measurements

Were you able to solve the measurements issue? I have a 3207 Carver...will measurements be useful if taken from my boat?

    Measurements

I'd be happy to help, however, I am not sure what you mean by the "rail". Done understand what to measure. Can you send a drawing showing what your need as well as the description?

Hmmm You're right. They look the same but after comparing both sterns on the net, they are different.

Sorry for the assumption and thanks for the correction.

If you're using flexible hose (which you should), these measurements are not needed. They also may not be accurate for your individual situation depending where you install it on your swim platform. Simply get a safe amount of hose, run it to where you'll do the install and cut to length.

    Here are your measurements

Top of rail to deck lip 27.5 inches
Top of deck lip to deck .75 inches
Top of deck lip to center of rub rail 13 inches
Center of rub rail to top of swim platform 34.5 inches.
Total is 75 inches from top of rail to swim platform

Keep mind mind that the transom is curved in two directions and these measurements were taken between the ladder and the escape window.
Hope this helps and sorry about the delay.

I don't mean to be difficult, but are you sure it's 13 inches, because when I look at one on the net it looks to be more, like closer to 17"

That appears to be a different style 3607 than I have. I do not have three port lights in the aft stateroom as shown. My boat is a 1989. Next time I go to the boat I will recheck the measurements.
