    Concerned about dog

Our dog, 16 month old part poodle, part bichon and a bit of something else, is a bit scared in the car so my wife is concerned about him on the boat.

Any good idea as to how to introduce him to boating?

Take da puppy on the boat for a day or two at the dock. Don't run the engines or go anywhere, just camp out on the dock.
Dogs/cats/girlfriends, it takes a while to realize & settle in a new environment.
The last thing you want to do is scare da critter. Lil bit at a time. Patience now will pay off later. Or, you will find out it's a pisser and don't like cars AND boats. Least you will discover it near da dock and not during a deployment.

Girlfriend got sick and ruined a weekend trip. Had to put her down. Her dog did great.

I'm sure if my wife found out about the girlfriend, she'd be more than happy to put her down...LOL
