Marina Papagayos

Depends on what you want to do, or where you want to go I guess. It is a very nice marina, quiet location, big swells. There are some big resorts not too far away.

I've been there on a 90'. Nice place with beautiful scenery. The only marina I've ever been to where you could watch Dorado hunting around the docks and see sailfish free jumping out in the bay from your flybridge while at the dock.

But you have to go during the right time of the year or it can be very windy. You are also pretty isolated from any towns. So unless you have the money to hang out at the 4 Seasons resort near by there is not much to do. And it would be an all day excursion to do any real provisioning.

Unless you have to be based out of there you would be better off going to and staying at Los Suenos near Jaco or Marina Pez Vela in Quepos. Lots more to do and easier provisioning at either place.
