Is this what we as a group think of when talking about " General Yachting Discussion"?

Is this how we want yachts to be thought of?
    Is my question important?
    Is there a "we"?

It may just be a differentiator from the raggers/blow boaters.

Good point. The times they are a-changin' ...may be time for a new tag line.

    This might work:

Depends on what the definition of us, is. :D

My vote is to stay with the original.

Changers should feel free to start their own website.

Interesting how those that preach tolerance have little ability to tolerate.

I have to admit it has always reminded me of a boat with a blown turbo. :D

I remember driving down I-95 one day, coming up Behind a big-truck blowing some black smoke. Before I could pass him the windshield was already covered with black oozzse and the wiper (the dummy I am) made it worse.
It took many hours to get the exhaust slobber off my glass and it never came off the (company) van. Didn't like that van anyway.
Yep, I know blown turbo slobber.

BUT, that fresh cold diesel exhaust, wif of a quick black cloud, big roar of the exhaust before the governor pulls the rack back. That's the belch we all live for. Bring them to life. Lite em up and go somewhere.

    That's what were;

I don't think you could keep that phrase on your tongue if you tried.

I try to keep the smoke from my 12V71TI engines at a minimum. That requires good maintenance and block heaters.

Not sure how I missed this thread? Must have been busy with the boat show or more likely... the number of pain killers I was gobbling like candy last week. All the stupid stuff I did as a kid is coming back to haunt me. Fellas... protect your back. Let someone younger do the lifting!

Regarding the "Belch Black Smoke" subtitle on YF's index page... we can change it to anything you guys want. I thought it was kinda catchy when I originally coined the term, but time passes along with legislation and perspectives.

I like it. It's my life's mission to die having left the largest possible carbon footprint. Size 13W so far....
