I agree. It is sick for anyone to spend 1.5 mil for a kit-car quality. ;)

Not to mention the world's ugliest front grill treatment... (this coming from a guy that drove an 06 Impreza).

Hey Fishtigua, the yacht carrying the Bugatti is the beautiful yacht 72m "Kogo" designed by Tim Heywood and built by Alstom in France in 2006!
I wonder if the Bugatti is inclusive when you charter her.;) I agree with Carl and Kevin but I guess a sundeck on a megayacht is the proper spot for 1,5million car!
Fish, do you have more photos?

The yacht could be the 72m M/Y "Kogo" built in France by Alstom Marine...

    Hi mate,

I'm not surprised at all that you would know the answer. Thank you. :)

No, the photos turned up on a car forum and the photo was taken while on vacation.

    Thanks guys.

Did those plans fall through? I saw her at the Plymouth shipyards in Mar 2009. At the time Babcock Marine was maintaining her. This from Bing and the map data seems to be from 2012. Also I noted Google maps has her still in Plymouth.

A McLaren aboard Kogo insted of a Bugatti would be more appropriate :)

    Unknown yacht in Sydney

I saw this one in Sydney on New Years Eve. It had no name anywhere that I could find. Anyone recognise it?

It's a 164' Westport. Don't know which one (of 10) it is. The black mask around the windows should narrow it down though.

    Hi,

Google Earth still shows my Fathrs car in the driveway at home, he passed away in 2006 and the car was sold straight away.

Kalamoun was scrapped by Lurssen, Destriero still sits at the Nthn End of the Lurssen Lemwerder yard, the name appeared to be blacked out last time I saw it.

    Thanks,

I wonder how often Google and Bing update their satellite coverages. I zoomed in my house and it looked like they still showed a car I got rid of about two years ago. At any rate, when I saw Destriero at Plymouth, that boat was huge. It was also pretty run-down looking as well which was rather sad given its history.

Thank you RER. I found a story about My Girl having her 5 year ABS survey earlier in 2012 in Aukland, so its reasonable that she is in this part of the world. Now, since the name has been removed, perhaps it has been sold and will have a new name soon. Mmm, perhaps Packer needed a bigger yacht in Sydney. He has one in Perth.

I was in St. Thomas this week and my brother and I saw this and he wants to know what make and size it is. Thought I'd ask here.

I was thinking it was a Palmer-Johnson. Now after comparing to pictures online, I'm not so sure. Regardless, it was quite sleek & majestic.
