Serene.........nice....... I just received my volume 26 "The Superyachts" "Serene is in it.........very nice.
Yep, "Serene" was here last winter season too, if you go through the pics here in theis thread you will see that, she was here with "Katara"...might possibly be that way again this time.
40-meter "Amoha" is in the Bridgetown Port, no pic as I couldn't be in the North at the marina and in the South at that same time.
The 134-meter Fincantieri built "Serene" picked up pilot at about 5 min to 8 this morning and by a few min after 8 was turning around to reverse up to her berth on Break Water North. * One of our Pilot launches waiting to pick up the harbour pilot to carry him out to "Serene" * "Serene" waiting on the Pilot to come to them. * After coming through the channel markers. * Seems like they can't wait to start to clean the salt grime off. * The turn started...
* Mast... * Not sure if you can tell but the finish on this yacht is crazy! She just came from the yard right?
It's nice to see a yacht that is really being used. Some yachts hardly leave the harbour ever and move around the med for a month a year. This is what yachts are built for..........world travelling........great.
Yep, she get's used alot for sure. Heli's out on deck. They not too long took her out the garage and the crew are all over cleaning as you would expect.
Those "exhaust stacks" look inspired... By a "Top Fuel Dragster" Wonder what she has under the hood... we may not know about!
I not sure, she probably has 6 to 8 MTU engines if the stacks are anythig to go by. She's a pretty quick yacht for her size. "Eclipse" is alot larger and probably has around 4 MTUs. I'm sure the more knowledgeable members can tell us about what's under the hood/below decks on "Serene".
It's not as uncommon as you think. The Royal Yacht "Sarafsa" built by Devonport in 08 has aft mounted radar as well.
Bad news guys/gals, "Serene" just moved back one berth, from Breakwater North to Breakwater Center. I assume this is to accommodate "Lauren L" who is arriving tomorrow. This means I can't get the close up night shots because she will be obscured!
"C2" is supposed to be coming here as well but I am not sure when as yet but for now she is in Phillipsburg, St. Maarten at the cruise pier along with "Eclipse" and "Air".
"Lauren L" is here...but I got up too late to go and shoot her..and she is on the cross berth soo no pics, sorry. I did ALOT yesterday..and I am only human.
