Returning from a sea trial onboard the Cheoy Lee 76' Alpha yesterday, I caught the Delta 54 maneuvering in the 15th Street canal. Ironically, Mel Wolf (CL's Media Director) had just asked the question... "what's your favorite boat?" I smiled and took this shot...

    Great stuff Lars.
On the first image are you using Volvo IPS systems?
Nice clean lines on the vessel.

Thank you, yes we have twin or triple IPS/600 on the D54 and twin or triple IPS/1200 on the upcoming 80-footer.

I shot the Delta at night during FLIBS and WOW! what great lighting. The yacht has a cool layout; open and roomy. Let me share the images.

The interior is nicely finished. Simple wood joinery with low profile seating and no bulkheads make for a see-thru yacht.

Side staterooms visible from centerline hall
    Foredeck is interesting
    Grabrails contoured for maximum use

    That's it for now.

Hi CaptTom, Thanks for finding the time to post the awesome shots of the Delta amid your busy Sandy recovery work schedule!

The 54 IPS never looked so good!!!

Thanks Dave. Just got home today and need to post a few more shots of the devestation from Sandy. Funny thing is that as bad as things are that I have seen, I hear it's worse in Staten Island and coastal NJ. What a mess.

    Wow. What a sharp boat.
I really like that interior. Very clean, sleek, modern and still visually pleasing.

    Thanks Tom for the shots.

    Kudos again Lars.

Tom - great shots, as always! Your photography further emphasizes why I thought the Delta 54 was an outstanding boat.

Yes, thank you Tom! Both for taking your time to shoot all the pictures and to post them here!

My mind is now with the next project, the 80-foot hull that we should sea-trial this week. As we did with the D54, we are using a D29 as a "flight deck", yes it is standing on top of the 80:s main deck and is connected to the engines below!

I hope it will be successful so I can post some pictures of the event...:)

Captain Tom your photography is outstanding! I am serious. Well done, thank you!

Oh Lars I hope so too. :) Beautiful photo you posted there... did it not started with 25 feet? To see from where it began and where it has come to (so far) must be such a pleasant moment. Your company literally grew up... everybody can be so proud congratulation and beyond good luck!! Looking forward to her and hopefully many more!
