I have a 2007 466 with wooden countertops in the salon. There are a few gouges on one counter, and a couple scratches.

I called carver and they said it was a solvent based finish, but I don't know what that means for repair.

    Any ideas?

Many corporate jets have wooden galley areas and wooden trim which get scratched and dinged up over the years. There are places that specialize in this type of repair. I believe they use some sort of epoxy glue that can be matched to the specific color and grain of the wood, to fill the void. I have seen dings on cabinetry similar to that in your photograph, and I have seen them repaired such that you would never know there had been any damage in the first place. I suspect you could ask a cabinet maker for advice.

You might want to contact a well regarded local furniture and/or piano mover to find out who they use when a piece of fine furniture gets damaged and needs to be repaired.

    Those craftspeople can work miracles!

    Good luck!!
