Hi, It would stand a better chance of a successful outcome if it had a better start, the yard and some of those involved at the start were not able to work together owing to some major differences in ideas, knowledge and personalities, this project and its Owners have suffered as a result.
Please pardon my ignorance, but is the hull pained black or is there some sort of protective covering?? Just curious... Cheers,
The aluminium superstructure appears to be unprotected (Perhaps it's not necessary because of the material?) Design is by Tim Heywood.
I agree. Perhaps the original owner is now looking for a new yard, or was the hull bought by a new owner? I hope the project can be successfully completed soon!
Hi, The Owner who started it is still involved as far as my contact is aware. The boat has ended up in this state owing mostly to deceit and arrogance of a couple of main players , one of whom I understand is responsibe for the hull ending up stuck in Gib. If the weather was better the tug change would have taken place at sea and it wouldn't have entered Gib.
I was seriously wondering if "No Comment" was her name or if you were not sure of the name Daniel..until I saw the aft shot.
The story is all over the pages of the Sunday Times of London today. No one comes out of the article looking very smart.
Hi, I couldn't see it in the online version and don't want subscribe to spend hours searching for it. Fish, If you have a minute in the office tomorrow could you scan the text and e mail it to me?

Hmmm, seems to be rather embarrassing for all. After reading the article, who actually "owns" the yacht or will it take the courts to decide?? Cheers,
Hi, The upcoming court case is not about the vessel in Gib, the Rothschild one the court case is over is still at the yard where it has festered since it's inception.
I love the shots of Kismet with the dark and overcast skies!!! Makes her look pretty menacing....Kismet is indeed a pretty yacht and growing on me!!! Thanks for the continuing images...hard to believe that this thread started way back in 2005 Cheers,
