I run a 10 year old 100' Hatterras Motor Yacht with 5 Golights. I have 10 remotes. All control the same (only 1 of the 5) lights. On that light the bulb was blown. There were many spare bulbs on board so I changed it. The bulb blew instantly on power up. A volt meter revealed 28 volts at the fixture. All of the replacement bulbs on board are 12 Volt. This boat was recently purchased but was in charter service in the Caribbean with loads of spare on board so I have to assume the lights worked and someone ordered the right spare bulbs. I have been unable to find 24 volt bulbs for the lights. Golight says there should be a "Circuit board" in the light fixture to drop the voltage to 12. I haven't had the time to take the light apart and investigate yet. Any one have a similar experience or insight?
