    While atending the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show, we visited the International Yacht Club in Antibes (IYCA). Never before have a I seen such an impressive line-up of Lurssens in one place.

    Is Coral Island still that horrible beige/sandy colour? Hard to tell from the photos.

    Yep. Shoulda named it 'Island Sand'. It's a creme color, stuck somewhere between beige and cake batter frosting.

    I would say vanilla hull and white superstructure, beautiful...:)

    BTW; I think the first sailing boat is the replica of the 1908 Germania, built in Spain as Germania Nova. While the Puritan is an Alden design built by Elco (Electric Boat Company, Groton, Connecticut) in 1931.

    Hmmm... I thought that scroll near the stern was an Abeking signature.

    It should look more like on the Germania, which was originally built at A&R. Even the more modern Extra Beat built for Agnelli got them.. :)
