I think you placed this thread in the wrong forum. You have posted a nice looking fast motoryacht. Not sure what definition you hold by for a trawler, but this goes beyond even "fast trawler."

Guess this means you still don't like trawlers

It seemed to me too beautiful and luxurious to be a trawler, but the manufacturer (Apreamare) insists qualify within the denomination trawler... :)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say and luxury may only be limited by funds or practicality.

But I'm not sure why you feel the need to follow in the builder's philosophy of mis-identification. As much as I appreciate Apreamares, they lose any possibility of credibility if they are truly insisting on this as their trawler model.

What am I missing on trawler characteristics? I didn't ask in my first post why the boat was rolling pulling into the marina. What about the engines (x2): Speed? Fuel consumption? Range? Or hull shape? Seakeeping ability? You get the point about the very BASICS of trawler requirements, or maybe not.

That might explain why the boat was rolling in the video on Post # 1.

This is NOT a fishing boat!

But...it does appear to share the same style as a fishing trawler. That makes it a recreational trawler. As far as I'm aware, speed does not factor in. Seems to be mainly a style.

    Beautiful boat!
