    I just love this yacht so I couldn't keep it to myself. Video on her here... got to love that background theme music...goes so well with the yacht's name ;)

    Haha good one. But she has been on the market for a while now, right? Or was it that she was on the market, sold, and now is on the market again?

    Malcolm MacLean on BI said, "So the rumour I heard a while ago is true as Michael White and Peter Thompson at Ocean Independence confirm they’ve been appointed to sell the 61m superyacht Diamonds are Forever with Noell Vawter at Worth Avenue Yachts."

    BI also reported "He(Staluppi) initially intended to start from scratch, but the opportunity arose to buy an existing hull and save a year and a half." So I am not sure if that hull was "on the market" so to speak but if it was it was certainly not in the form of what is now DAF.

    Well I know for a fact that she was on the market before her launched and was being advertised with the same name.

    DAF has been listed since September 18, 2010.

    Staluppi purchased FB253 from Benetti or the person who contracted with Benetti to build FB235 without her being on the market.

    While FB 253 is under construction Staluppi put her on the market for the first time as Diamonds Are Forever.

    So in the interview the Captain of DAF said the owner (we all know who he is) is stepping up to a larger yacht! Hence why DAF is up for sale. If they can get a buyer...he would go ahead with the new build project, if I understand correctly. I wonder how much larger he will go... The largest yacht Benetti has on order is 90-meter right?
