Thanks for the great shots! How do you save stills from the live webcam? Do you know if there is a way to save the video too?
I did multiple screen captures, shift + Command + 4 key on a mac, then cropped and color corrected them in Photoshop. Do not think there is a way to record the video.
Quinta Essentia is for sale for a whopping 75,000,000 euro! I do not know if that price is realistic for a 55m yacht..
I believe a new Heesen has been launched. Possibly a 47-meter and the name is "Lady Petra". I wonder if this has anything to do with "My Petra".
Spectacular vid! I just lost four minutes of my day... now I need to convince my brain to get back to this office and return to work.
If you have not seen the video of the Heesen "Aurelia" with the interior by Bannenberg & Rowell...they just posted it up about a week ago on their blogspot. bannenbergandrowell: AURELIA VIDEO
Wow YN, thanks for posting that awesome video! The film really brings to life the designs that were not too appealing to me in the static photos I had seen previously. The movement through space boats and people brought it all together for me so that now I "totally get" and appreciate what the designers were trying to create, a beautiful cohesive ethereal experience from stem to stern both inside and out. Loved all the action sequences especially the dive from the sundeck!
"Aurelia" is the best designed of all those 3700s so far hands down! You would have had to been a fan of alot of black to like "G-Force's" interior. B&R really have toned down their interiors of recent. You can see it with examples of Aurelia, "Pacific", "Natori", "Kaiser" etc. They used to be really whimsicle with the interiors before but of late they look more conservative but still keeping the bright colours and shapes they are known for.
"Lady Petra" has been delivered and she arrived already in the Med... M/y. LADY PETRA - ShipSpotting.com - Ship Photos and Ship Tracker
Now that was fast! Given who the client is, no mistakes! Interesting how she is flying the Dutch flag yet registered in Valletta.
Good spotted Ron, is that not a contradiction?! It is the 8th 47m yacht so they are very expierienced and there should not be too much problems. But you are right c.a 1 month for little finishing works and seatrials is fast! The yard did obviously a good job.
Some new launch news, apparently Heesen launched two new yachts very recently. One is called "Galactica Plus" and the other "Secret". I wonder if the Galactica Plus has anything to do with the Heesen "Galactica" of 2007. This new Galactica is 35-meters and possibly hull YN16135. Secret is another 47-meter.
