She was definitly built in Viareggio. I guess they had different facilities before Paolo Vitelli purchased and modernized Benetti 1985 I think.
I have read an articel about the 90m contract and can confirm that. Benetti says they built yachts up to 75m in Livorno but the docks are max. 110m long so I think they can built the yacht there as well.
Yeah, that is amazing for Benetti, i'm glad for them! The Miami Boat Show seemed to have birth quite a few yacht sales overall though, great sign!
The Future Benetti City It is a huge project concerning the development of the new Livorno port, and it is part of a larger renovation plan which concerns the whole Porta a Mare area. Besides the several yard’s sheds, facilities and marina, with a capacity up to 60 vessels, it will rise a new marina consisting of two basins which will provide mooring up to 700 boats. An area entirely dedicated to refit and maintenance will be established there. The new housing estate which will rise next to the Benetti shipyard, will house luxury apartments up to 150 m² for the shipowners, their guests and the owners of the berths. The project will also provide accommodation for a shopping centre, offices and facilities for the crews, and all maritime and touristic activities. A hotel and a conference centre will complete this large scale project, and a canal will link the various zones. *** Benetti Web Site
I have seen a video demo for the project, quite amazing, I love Benetti! Thanks for the update. Cheers.
The link was removed but found it somewhere else! BENETTI_Seanna_FB254 Benetti 65M.mov - YouTube (Check the right list for Delfino 93 and FB252 A.K.A "Nataly") A true joy watching Benetti cut through waters! Cheers.
A new name surfaces for the yacht that was built by Benetti as "Beverley". Remember she was recently sold and so her new name is "Banyan III".
A seriously good looking yacht. Its sleek sharp lines make sense. By far the best looking Benetti around. The former Benetti lines were getting a bit out dated. Such a cool looking yacht.
I still think, "Diamonds are Forever" is the best looking to date. Yes she has all the traditional Benetti genes. If you wanted something different well yes look towards "Nataly". Actually to me, Nataly looks like a smaller version of "Vava ii"

Here's a yacht not seen that often since being completed by Benetti. This is "Johanna", the first 'Crystal' 140. JOHANNA - ShipSpotting.com - Ship Photos and Ship Tracker
The rarely seen "Ulysses" by Benetti Yachts... She looks to be in Malta in the photo. ULYSSES - IMO 1010959 - ShipSpotting.com - Ship Photos and Ship Tracker
...and speaking of her, she has just gone on to the charter marke so I guess we could soon see interior photos of this Benetti.
