Man that is soo nice - thank you very much! You know her better than me, do you have seen any changes on the exterior after the refit( new underwaterlights for example)?
I couldn't spot any differences. She looks the same way before the refit and I wouldn't be able to tell if they changed the underwater lights or not. They seem to be the same colour and intensity as before the yard work. Milow, in the pics you can see the lights under the canopies were white last night and not blue as on other nights.
Terrificphotos of Katara....we saw it last evening on the way to the restaurant for dinner but I couldn't find a good spot for the taxi to stop to take photos. BTW, TRIBU' is now docked at Port St Charles.
Thank you for your appreciation BillL. BTW welcome to YachtForums. As it relates to "TRIBu'", I had it covered the same day she went down there from the port http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/marinas-waypoints/6203-yachts-port-st-charles-marina-39.html
Today was terrible for photos, the rain has been falling for the whole day but I still went out shooting for you guys. * "Katara" ready for heliborne operations * 'Katara One' (A7-HMD) EC-155 lift off * Katara One (A7-HMD) EC-155 off and away * Katara *coloured* * If ya like black and white
I didn't see 'Katara' on my drive to school this morning. Is it still in the Carlisle Bay, or did it go sailing?
* "Katara's" Catamaran tender * ibid * "Katara" lowering another of her Vikal Limos * Into the water * Part of Pebbles/Brown's beach
Agreed, Wonderful photos sir. I just saw the helicopter landing on it, not 1/2 an hour ago. Scary Stuff! Lol
Feadship "Hampshire" is back, she arrived just about 30 min ago and now she is out and anchor again in the vacinity of the sailship/yacht "Fryderyk Chopin". Didn't go to take pics because I have many of the Feadship here already.
Two from yesterday... * "Katara" on the rocks, how does that taste? * Anyone can ID the sail yacht? Looks like a smaller offering from Southernwind Shipyard?
Why is she constantly leaving the port to go out there? Is there a policy that you can't stay in the port for a while? And, is that yacht home-porting here now?
Cruise ships take priority at the harbour. If she is occupying a berth that the harbour master wants to assign a cruise ship to for the next day, she has to leave. Five cruise ships are due tomorrow so she had to free up the breakwater. And for your last question, let's just say she enjoys Barbados.
Some night pictures I took just now from my location. Bare in mind these photos were taken 3 to 4 miles away. * Wide angle of the Carlisle Bay and Port area. * P&O "Ventura" ready to depart, * Azamara's "Azamara Journey" on departure dropping off the pilot. * "Katara" at anchor in the Bay.
