There is news of the "Wally B" being on the 'for-sale' market. Wally B is a near 33-meter composite sloop built by Wally in 1998. You can see her at the upcoming 2009 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).

You can always count on Wally to be different. Not a bad concept though from an aesthetic point of view. Would I want to do trans-atlantic in that though? I don't know.
I guess that making it a displacement hull also permits a substantially greater interior volume. Very nice!
Probably best to stow the china and cutlery prior to going, if not the deck furniture and awnings......
A video on the movement of the Wally ACE to the finishing shed. Remember launching is due for the second half of 2012. For the video just look for: "Wally Power"; "Wally ACE" ; "Wally ACE construction film". Wally // Home
Hey YN, did you look at her layout? It seems strange, there appears to be a hull door lined up to her engine room? ?? Can you make anything of it? EDIT: imo not much interior space...she will probably have some trouble competing in her class? although she is a wally so maybe thats all that matters........
What has happened to Aeroyacht catamaran Does anyone know what has happened to Aeroyacht catamaran 110. The last I heard Wally had her under construction and since then she seems to have vanished. I thought she was an interesting project.
Here is her layout with the last 2 images showing the difference in cabins within the first hull and 2nd.
Just caughht that rendering.... seems like they plan on storing the tender in a garage "above" the engine room... with a draught of 1.75m this equates to me like tender which needs to be really low profile, and a low headroom engine room.... And what is the great benefit? I can foresee additional problems in launching and retrieving too, if the garage is as tight as it looks in the rendering, how are crew supposed to safely handle launch/retrievals? If at least it were a flip-out opening platform/ramp style, it would be easier, but that would mean it would have to be even lower, which wouldnt work in the engine room... I guess someone had an idea "lets put a door with the tender in the middle of the hull just like on [insert 50m yacht name]".... Can I hear form over function anyone?
Hey, the Wally 50m is scheduled to be launched this month...I am very excited to see her and hope that the wait was it worth!
Actually, this is what I thought, because the two decks respective to engine room and garage door line-up. So that could have only meant the tender garage is above the engine room which I imagine will be a bit dicey as you suggested. We will have to see how it pans out in a few months.
Pretty nice looking boat! Looks like they ran out of fuel or engine problems or something though. 63ft Super yacht Rescue - YouTube

Sorry I am now responding but been busy writing features. The aft view is nice of her. Wonder how the interior is, if they carry on the minimal look that Wally usually goes for.
Sorry YN there is only a brief glimpse of the Blue Goose in this interview with Wally founder The Boat Show Portrait LUCA BASSANI - YouTube I wish I spoke Italian so I could enjoy what he has to say but seeing so many of his wonderful sailing yachts in one fell swoop is wonderful.
