Good morning or night to everybody.
I´m the owner of a Nautical 56 boat which original name was The Wild Catter.
I bought it in Spain with a Panama´s flag .
I want to remove flag and authorities are demanding me the " original construction certificate " of the boat.
I khow that it was designed by Steve Seaton for a company ( Nautical 56 corporation ) which I don´t think it exists.
If any body could help me I will be pleased to invite you for a ride in Spain if you are visiting us.
    Best regards.

    Hi,

Does the existing Flag State not have a copy of the Builders Certificate?

Shouldn't your attorney and or broker made sure this document was available before completing the sale?

You might try contacting the builder in Finland who, I'm certain, have the paperwork you require.

You may think of Nauticat, which is another brand. The Nautical 56 is probably from the company below:

Here are some facts on the boat: http://floridaboats.net/archive/nautical slides/index.html

    Hi,

If the yacht in question is described correctly I think Lars has hit the nail on the head.

The first article here nautical 56 yacht - Google Search

might be of some interest as it explains what happened to the builder but does not mention any news or info in regard to support /information etc.

Steve (Stephen) Seaton is usually very responsive and perhaps he can help. You can get his contact information from his website which is easy to search.
