Visually it looks good, but I find the navigation quite quirky.... Looks like it would be cool with a remote but totally unintuitive with a mouse...
Actually that is a subjective perception because I actually like the navigation on it. The side roll-out and such is interesting en-route to your final destination on the site. You may not like it.
Yes, the comments are my opinion... others will surely like it... like i said, i like it visually, but in terms of navigation, on a large screen, close-up (computer range, i.e. not living room distance), and at high resolution i dont see any advantage to this type of layout... for example, scrolling the yacht list takes a long time because you only get a few names visible at a time, whereas there is clearly room to display a much larger list neatly and cleanly... like i said in the original reply, its a design "characteristic"... personally not my favorite for navigating on a computer screen, but its got nice pictures and such... i've seen better, defo seen worse EDIT: one thing caught my eye though, and i drift off topic here... on the page about Kogo, they say that with dynamic positioning you can swim near corals without damaging them with an anchor (or something to this effect)... wouldnt it be dangerous to swim with active propulsion (I understand that is what the dynamic position equates to - propulsion and thrusters used automatically to hold position)... can anyone comment?
You are right, it is a NO-NO to swim or dive from a boat with dynamic positioning activated. You need to use a tender to get away from the boat.
