    Wow great news, great boats.

It was only a matter of time before the rebirth of Post.

Their website indicates that they will be at the Miami show next month....

    Yes, Post Yachts is back

As some of you have already noticed the company in back. In addition to manufacturing new boats, they will specialize in refit and refurbishing current Posts also. Worton Creek did a major refit on on our 1981 42' Post that we owned back in 1999 and did an incredible job. Put the curve in the deck house, took all the exterior wood off and awlgripped the topsides. Please go to the new website, Post Yachts -- A Tradition of Excellence for Nearly Half A Century to see what the vision is for the future. Also, please send them your email and boat information as they are trying to rebuild the database as it relates to the upcoming Rendezvous and other new exciting things in the future.

That is a nice marina and we've always enjoyed staying there but I really don't see them having the capacity to build many boats at that facility. Especially the larger models.

    Building boats at the facility

They have the building aspect well thought out. They will be building a new building that will house the molds for layup and then use the current large building they have already for the actual assembly of the boats. By the time of the rendezvous in July, we should all be able to see how things will flow.

That is good to hear. I was concerned they would be only doing repairs and parts and just talking about building boats like some other "rescued" brands. They do have a reputation for doing quality work. I hope they can expand and keep the quality up.
