    Ec 145

Yes EC-145 is basically a combination of MBB Bo-105 and Kawasaki BK-117 (BK-117 was a collaboration between MBB-Germany and Kawasaki-Japan). Since Aerospatiale became Eurocopter they have redefined there helicopters with EC instead of AS. EC-145 previously was fitted with conventional tail rotor but new deliveries are coming with their famous fenestron tail rotors as on EC-120 & EC-155B. EC-145 is being done in VIP interior designed by Mercedes Benz as was displayed in EBACE 2011 at Geneva with VIP seating for upto 8 pax maximum and a roomy cargo hold behind.

Yes it does. But a VIP interior version done by Mercedes Benz for upto 8 pax with roomy cargo hold can cost upto US$8 million (depending upon type of interior and noise cancellation). It has two engines with single pilot IFR certification and new deliveries will have their famous "Fenestron" tail rotor instead of traditional tail rotor.

    Umbra belongs to RAs fleet.
I don't know why he needs such a Support vessel, he already owns Luna
and Eclipse(for shure you know that) with giant tender storages.
But his money, so his decision :)

This is "Umbra" when she was here late last year...taken by fellow member yachtpictures2
    .....certainly different toys onboard then.

I think I was possibly getting mixed up with "Oberon"...maybe it was her I saw carrying around a tender to the superyacht "TITAN".
