We all have our favorite Roamershot... please add yours http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi
Please talk details... I do not know this Roamer?! What year, hull, size.. looks like a 1969 38' ? Nice shot... hope others will post some none of us have seen before. Homer
Sweeeet! Now here are two nice Roamers that we, or at least I have not seen before I do not believe? Thanks for sharing!! We hope others will see this post and take the time to ad theirs too. Both members and onlookers really enjoy new photos. If everyone who owns one, has new photos to add or even has a picture of one would submit, this thread would grow quite large. It's amazing 40-50 years later so many of them are in such nice shape and running strong in a marine environment no less. When you think about it... most original Roamer owners are no longer with us, but their legend lives on in the next generation and probably another thereafter.... sort of cool. Kudos to the breed! A Lake Boat on the Three Rivers Our 1968 46' Roamer Riviera "Rent's Due" Roamin' down the Allegheny and High-Tailing it down the Monongahela!
Ahhh... the 46. The 46 is a beautiful beast for sure.. I remember a brand new 1969 46 at Bonnie Castle in the 1000's Islands named Beefeater owned by the Grandma Brown's Baked Beans family. It was aluminum with 871's. Thanks for sharing... new photos everyone likes too see!
Repainted Looks good. What paint did you use and any helpful tips? I will have to paint my topsides this winter.
Sam's ? Hey Homer was that you I saw at Sam's last weekend ? We were in a slip opposite of the outdoor bar when I saw your boat. by the time I was cleaned up and presentable you were on your way. Sorry I missed you. PS I did manage to get a couple pics of your boat but left the camera on the boat. I'll post them next week or so. Your boat looked terrific.
Not a Homer Doppelganger That wasn't Homer. It was the (as-yet-unnamed) Roamer, a 1966 37', that now cruises the Severn River and the the surrounding bay (Homer has a 38'). We were enjoying a fine Chesapeake weekend and stopped in to check-out Sam's. ... a splendid time! Stop by next time and say Hello! David
