I just took delivery of a new 95' motor yacht. There is a very light tint on all the windows. I would like to get a film that blocks the heat and UV rays... Ive looked at V-Kool, are there any other options ?

I've used V-kool window tinting film a lot.
When applied to the exterior you'll need to replace it every year or so because it wears pretty quick. You also need to be real carefull hosing the windows down.
I find this window film quite a cheap solution for a new 95' yacht.

I've used vkool also, but have never heard of it being installed on the exterior of the windows. Traditional window tinting on the inside of the windows works pretty well, but I would only use that on side windows and not helm windows.....I'd use vkool on those.

We used it on the outside because we had to cover some fake windows.

    Hi Capt Bill,
You beat me to the punch...3M makes the best! I just had it installed on my new SUV, even on the windshield. Even in 95 degree weather, it feels like I'm sitting in the shade, the product is called Crystalline, best 800 bucks I've ever spent!
