Here's one that deserves a Rice Citation if one was applicable to yachts.

The term... "cut off your nose despite your face" comes to mind.

I really like these Albin 27's but there should be a law or guidelines as to what and how to make additions!

The ugly step-sister to the first photo in post 3, perhaps a new and improved model?

Yep, it is a Cruisers, although it is very similar to the Carver below.

This one must be operating on the premise you're too drunk to notice the paint job.

Normally I would say it isn't fair to post houseboats because most of them would be too easy too include on this thread and it just wouldn't be sporting. They are practical for what they are intended to be, but I have yet to see one I would call beautiful (someone prove me wrong, please). This one though takes fugly houseboat to a new level...

Since paint jobs are fair game the first boat might be a "winner" on both counts.

It looks like a nice hull design got saddled with a lifetime burden on the second boat.

These boats were built in the 1970's and I can't recall the name, but it contained the word "cutter". Bad memory aside, check out the hand painted bootstripe...

The name did indeed contain the word 'cutter' since she was [cue drumroll] a Cutter. One of these 28' x 8' w/ Volvo diesel crossed the Atlantic back in the '70s.

Were they sold as a " Camper or a Boat" kind of thing you could use for either life style ?
